Leading vote-getter Lamar Jackson is the only QB with multiple MVP awards not to appear in a Super Bowl. He currently is tied with the reigning MVP, Josh Allen, for the best odds (+550) to take home this year’s trophy, while the Ravens are tied with Allen’s Bills (+330) as the most likely AFC representative in Super Bowl LX.
Allen, a top contender for this year’s prize but absent on all of our analysts’ ballots, could become just the fifth player in the Super Bowl era to pull off a repeat (joining Joe Montana, Brett Favre, Peyton Manning and Aaron Rodgers ).
If Joe Burrow were to win the 2025 MVP, he’d join Peyton Manning (five) and Cam Newton (one) as the only QBs drafted No. 1 overall to win the award in this millennium. He’d be just the seventh top selection to do so in the Super Bowl era (along with Terry Bradshaw, Earl Campbell, John Elway and O.J. Simpson).
Jayden Daniels could become just the second player ever to win MVP the year after earning OROY honors. Hall of Famer Earl Campbell accomplished the feat in the 1978 and ’79 seasons.
