New Orleans– The New Orleans Saints tweeted yesterday “Do Your Job Wear A Mask.” The ad is response to the NFL’s health push to curb the spread of Covid 19 throughout the world. The Saints rival San Francisco 49ers had their own mask promotion today.
The 49ers Twitted out today, “Be a saint. Grab a face mask with video of George Kittle‘s catch-and-run to set up the winning field goal in last season’s game at New Orleans. That play ended with Saints safety Marcus Williams blatantly grabbing and pulling Kittle’s facemask in a desperate attempt to bring him down.”

The play brings back tough memories of the 2019 Saints week 14 match up verses the 49ers. It was in the 4th quarter when safety Marcus Williams grabbed Niners tight end George Kittle’s face mask. The grab cause the referee to flag the Saints for a 15 yard penalty, helping San Francisco field goal wise. The 49ers won the game 48-46 along the way to a Superbowl appearance. The Niner’s are taking an opportunity to not only push their own safety mask campaign but take a shot at an NFL rival.
