Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson will miss Thursday’s practice after leaving practice early on Wednesday. The Ravens previously said that Jackson had his foot stepped on during Wednesday’s practice, but was fine.
During Wednesday’s practice, Jackson was inadvertently knocked to the ground about 90 minutes into practice, according toJamison Hensley of ESPN. The two-time NFL MVP stayed on the field to throw a couple more passes before heading into the facility with a team doctor and trainer. Hensley said that Jackson was flexing his right wrist before leaving practice.
The Ravens could be playing the safe game with Lamar Jackson and giving him some time to rest. It’s likely Jackson will not play in the Ravens’ preseason finale against the Washington Commanders on Saturday, since he hasn’t played in a preseason game in four years. Jackson has not missed a game with an injury since the 2022 season.
