Two NFL insiders shared an update on New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara , who suffered a knee injury on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons. According to Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network, Kamara suffered a knee sprain and will have an MRI to “determine the full extent.”
Alvin Kamara suffered the injury in the first quarter after his right leg got twisted. He was sent to the team’s medical tent before the Saints ruled him out for the rest of the game.

“We’ll have to let that go through this process,” Saints head coach Kellen Moore said after the game, per ESPN. “He obviously wasn’t able to return. We’ll have to get the full evaluation tomorrow and get a feel for that and see what this outline looks like.”
Kamara finished the day with 11 rushing yards on three carries and two catches for four yards. The Saints went on to fall to the Falcons 24-10 to drop to 2-9 on the year.
