Angel Reese extends impressive streak in loss to Lynx

Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese recorded her ninth consecutive double-double on Monday in a 91-78 loss to the WNBA-leading Minnesota Lynx. Last season, Reese’s rookie year, she set the record for most consecutive double-doubles (15) in league history. Her current streak is the WNBA’s fourth-longest, also trailing Candace Parker (12) and Sylvia Fowles (10). It was her third 20-10 game this season, the second-most in the league, only trailing Indiana Fever center Aliyah Boston (four). While the loss was a setback after Chicago won two in a row, Reese’s continued growth remains a positive for the Sky.
