Angel Reese, who averaged 14.7 points and 12.6 rebounds in the 2025 WNBA season, opted not to join the 3-on-3 Unrivaled league for its second year. The Chicago Sky star missed 14 games in the past campaign due to a persistent back issue. In fact, she wasn’t able to suit up in the last three games of the season because of the injury. That being said, it’s not a surprise that she chose to rest this offseason instead of continuing to play in another league. Still, Reese’s absence from Unrivaled is noteworthy, especially since she’s the reigning Defensive Player of the Year in the league. She was also part of the inaugural Unrivaled champions, Rose BC.
