The NBC broadcast shared the latest on Tampa Bay Buccaneers Baker Mayfield , who suffered an injury before halftime against the Los Angeles Rams. Mayfield was shown wearing a sling on his left shoulder, and the Buccaneers ruled him out for the rest of the game.
At the end of the first half, Baker Mayfield was in pain after throwing a Hail Mary pass that was intercepted. The former Oklahoma star stayed down for a significant period of time after the play ended, and Teddy Bridgewater took over for him in the second half.
Mayfield struggled in the Sunday Night Football game, finishing his night with 41 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions on 9-of-19 passes. At halftime, the Rams were leading the Buccaneers 31-7.
