Bill Murray just made a big Super Bowl prediction for the Chicago Bears this season. While appearing on theManningCastwith Peyton Manning and Eli Manning on Monday night, the actor/comedian predicted the Bears would win this year’s Super Bowl.
“I’m going to make news tonight. I’m going to predict a Bears Super Bowl this season,” Bill Murray said. That’s a bold prediction for Murray, as the Bears are coming off a 5-12 record, and they have a new head coach in Ben Johnson . But since the 74-year-old is from Chicago and a die-hard Chicago sports fan, he has to support his team.
It would be fitting for the Bears to win this year’s Super Bowl since it’s the 40th anniversary of the 1985 team winning all. Murray was asked about what he remembered about the ’85 Bears.
