Bills to sign WR Gabe Davis to practice squad

Copied!

The Bills are bringing back another favorite prior to the start of the regular season this Sunday.

Buffalo is signing veteran receiver Gabe Davis to its practice squad, NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reported on Tuesday.

Davis is still on his road back to the field after suffering a season-ending meniscus injury in November, prompting the Jaguars to release him just one year into a three-year, $39 million deal he’d signed in March 2024. He’ll begin on Buffalo’s practice squad in order to give him time to finish his rehab and ramp up with the hope of eventually being elevated to the team’s active roster.
