Blue Jays reportedly targeting top free agent Kyle Tucker amid Bo Bichette saga

The Toronto Blue Jays have been one of the more active teams in free agency this offseason. Pitchers Dylan Cease and Cody Ponce were brought in to help fortify the rotation, giving the Blue Jays an impressive group of starting pitchers. Tyler Rogers was signed to a three-year deal to improve the middle of the bullpen. Sportsnet’s Ben Nicholson-Smith noted that the two sides have had recent discussions, but the Blue Jays have not ruled out bringing back shortstop Bo Bichette either. Arguably the top free agent this offseason, Tucker had a strong showing in 2025 for the Cubs. He posted a .266/.377/.464 batting line over his 597 plate appearances, hitting 22 homers and 25 doubles while stealing 25 bases.  TuckRead More
