San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy returned to practice on Wednesday after missing last Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints, head coach Kyle Shanahan revealed on Wednesday.
Purdy missed the game due to a toe injury, but has now improved to the point where he has returned to practice as a limited participant. As of now, quarterback Mac Jones is set to make his second consecutive start for the 49ers in their Week 3 game against the Arizona Cardinals this Sunday.
According to Shanahan however, Purdy “has a chance” to play in that matchup.
