Browns rookie QB Shedeur Sanders enters game vs. Ravens with Dillon Gabriel (concussion) ruled out

Cleveland Browns quarterback Dillon Gabriel was ruled out after suffering a concussion midway through Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens, bringing Shedeur Sanders into his first NFL action.

Sanders took the field for Cleveland’s first possession of the second half as Cleveland announced Gabriel was being evaluated for a concussion.

The fifth-round pick completed both his first two pass attempts but was sacked on the final play of his first possession.

Gabriel went 7-of-10 passing for 68 yards with no touchdown or interceptions before exiting.

Cleveland held a 16-10 lead over Baltimore upon Sanders’ entrance into the game.
