Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo surpasses career milestone vs. Nets

Giannis Antetokounmpo already has a legacy that makes him one of the greatest players in NBA history.  On Saturday, he further cemented his legendary status by reaching a major career milestone at a historic pace.  While leading the Milwaukee Bucks to a 116-99 win over the Brooklyn Nets, Antetokounmpo, 30, surpassed 21,000 career regular-season points. Antetokounmpo, affectionally known as the “Great Freak” in basketball circles, became the sixth youngest player to reach 21,000 all-time points.  He scored 29 points, falling one point shy of back-to-back 30-point performances since returning after missing four games with a left calf strain, in just 19 minutes of action, doing so in an incredibly efficient manner.
