“WWE Raw” on Monday took place at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Celebrities and athletes in attendance there were plenty, but only one got directly involved in the action: New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo .
Skattebo was part of a brawl against The Judgment Day, less than a month removed from undergoing season-ending surgery. While the moment went viral, some weren’t pleased to see Skattebo taking a potential risk. Tuesday, he fired back at his critics.
“Aye, honestly if you don’t like that I’m having a good time while dealing with a tough time, then just go ahead and unfollow and casually move on,” Skattebo wrote on X. “I’m not able to play football and have the fun I’ve been having my whole life, so I am doing things outside the box trying to find stuff to keep me happy. Enjoy the rest of y’all’s week and just don’t talk about me if you ain’t got nothing nice to say.”

Cam Skattebo played a role in WWE Raw at Madison Square Garden
Skattebo was sitting in the front row alongside some of his Giants teammates and comedian Andrew Schulz . He was approached by JD McDonagh of The Judgment Day, who began talking smack in Skattebo’s face. Skattebo couldn’t let McDonagh get that close without doing something, so he shoved McDonagh to the floor. That ignited a brawl between the professional wrestling faction and Skattebo’s group.
