On Sunday, the Carolina Panthers (0-2) and the Atlanta Falcons (1-1) will square off at 1 p.m. ET. The Panthers are still searching for their first win after suffering a 27-22 loss to the Arizona Cardinals last week.
It was nearly a miraculous comeback win for the Panthers, who trailed Arizona 27-3 with just over nine minutes remaining in the third quarter. In the loss, Panthers quarterback Bryce Young completed 35-of-his-55 pass attempts for 328 yards and three touchdowns, while only throwing one interception.
Young’s heroic attempt was ultimately cut short when he was sacked on fourth down with 26 seconds left in the game. Nonetheless, the Panthers showed significant improvement from their Week 1 performance.
