CeeDee Lamb injury update: Cowboys WR reveals comfort level with ankle

The Dallas Cowboys have spent the past three games without star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb . An ankle injury vs. the Chicago Bears meant Lamb watched from the sideline. However, Dallas never put him on injured reserve, meaning he could return within a month.

Now, the plan seems to be coming to fruition. Lamb appears to be on track to play Sunday against the Washington Commanders. It’s all about comfort at this point, something Lamb feels good about a few days into the practice week.

“I feel like I’m moving around, running around, being me,” Lamb said via ESPN’s Todd Archer. “Happy as can be obviously just believing in my ankle. Obviously, I feel like it’s back to where I needed it to be.”

Archer added that Lamb felt like he could have played in the Carolina game if needed. But the Cowboys decided to hold him out of an abundance of caution.
