CeeDee Lamb provides NSFW response when discussing drop problem

CeeDee Lamb finds himself as a talking point after the Dallas Cowboys’ win over the Philadelphia Eagles. But not for the good reasons. Instead, everyone is wondering why drops are an issue for the star wide receiver. This spans over multiple weeks for Lamb and got even more attention on Sunday, coming in big moments.

Lamb is not running from the situation either. The problem is pretty clear to him, and he addressed it as such on Tuesday.

“Just find ways to get better,” Lamb said via Jon Machota of The Athletic . “You want to be solution-oriented. You’re not really dwelling much on the problem. Granted, we know the problem, I need to catch the f—king ball.”

In a vacuum, four catches for 75 yards is a pretty good day, especially when George Pickens continues to put up incredible numbers. Lamb received 11 targets, though a handful of which resulted in drops. It’s the second-lowest catch percentage of his career when getting targeted at least 10 times. One that stands out more than any other is when Lamb was in the end zone, seeing the ball go right through his hands.

Lamb now has a chance to show strides fresh off a short week. Dallas hosts its normal Thanksgiving Day game, welcoming the Kansas City Chiefs to town for the holiday. Another game where the Cowboys likely need a win to remain alive in the NFC Playoffs race, Lamb figures to be an important piece.
