Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Ladd McConkey is more than ready to compete in flag football in the 2028 Summer Olympics. While appearing on The Schultz Report with NFL insider Jordan Schultz, McKonkey was asked if he wanted to compete for Team USA in the next Olympics, which will be held in LA.

“Bring it on. I’m ready for it,” Ladd McConkey said. “Sign me up. If I have a chance to go compete for the country, win a gold medal, come on. Who would turn that down?”

And when Schultz mentioned the 2028 Olympics will be in LA, McConkey replied, “Who better else to get it then? Come on. Come get me.”

There’s still some time before the Team USA flag football roster can be finalized, but it’s no surprise that McConkey wants to be on the team since this will be the first time flag football will be in the Olympics.
