Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice rocked his signed Kyle Larson jacket before he played in Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers. The Chiefs’ official X/Twitter account shared a photo of Rice wearing the jacket while walking to the stadium.

Rashee Rice attended the NASCAR Cup Series race at Kansas Speedway in May with Chiefs general manager Brett Veach, and both were guests of Kyle Larson, who is a big Chiefs fan. Larson won the race and sent Rice a signed jacket and hat.

Unfortunately, the jacket didn’t bring the Chiefs luck as they lost to the Chargers 16-13. Kansas City not only lost on Sunday, but the team’s star quarterback, Patrick Mahomes , tore his ACL and will miss the rest of the year. Additionally, the Chiefs have been eliminated from playoff contention.

In the loss, Rice caught seven passes for 51 yards. He was suspended for the first six games of the 2025 season and has recorded 53 receptions for 571 yards and five touchdowns through eight games.
