CJ Stroud injury update: Houston Texans reveal QB's status for Titans game

Houston Texans quarterback CJ Stroud will miss his second consecutive game this Sunday against the Tennessee Titans, ESPN ‘s Adam Schefter reported Thursday afternoon. Backup quarterback Davis Mills will make his second consecutive start for Houston.

Stroud exited Houston’s game against the Denver Broncos on Nov. 2 in the second quarter after suffering a big hit by Denver CB  Kris Abrams-Draine . He did not return to the game and will now miss his second consecutive game as he deals with a nasty concussion.

In eight games this season, Stroud boasts 1,702 passing yards, 11 touchdowns and five interceptions. The Texans are 3-5 in games he’s started this year.

CJ Stroud has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Titans; QB Davis Mills starts again.
