Clippers ‘strongly considering’ 12-time All-Star free agent

The Los Angeles Clippers recently acquired Bradley Beal. The high-scoring shooting guard agreed to a buyout with the Phoenix Suns, allowing him to join the Clippers on a cost-controlled deal. Despite adding Beal to the rotation, it would appear the Clippers are still looking at ways to improve. According to Lawrence Frank, the franchise is “strongly considering” making a move to acquire Chris Paul. The 20-year veteran is a free agent after leaving the San Antonio Spurs earlier this summer. “What I’d say about Chris is he’s a great player, he’s a great Clipper,” Frank said, “He obviously possesses some of the qualities we just referenced. Of course, we’re strongly strongly considering him.” Paul is well-known to the Clippers fan base. He spent six seasons with the franchise during the “lob city” era with Blake Griffin.
