Copied!
A surprise name suddenly popped up on the Indianapolis Colts’ injury list prior to their big game Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Colts quarterback Daniel Jones was listed as limited for Thursday’s practice with a calf injury. Jones was not listed on Wednesday’s injury report, and this is the first time he’s been reported with a calf injury this season.
Jones has started every game for the 8-2 Colts in 2025, throwing for 2,659 yards, 15 touchdowns and seven interceptions and completing 69.9 percent of his passes. He has also run 40 times for 143 yards and five TDs.

The Colts are coming off a Week 11 bye. Jones was sacked 12 times in his previous two games, with his effectiveness dropping during that period after one of the better starts to his career in the first eight games of the season.
