Colts WR Michael Pittman Jr. evaluates his 2025 season: 'It can always be better'

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr . has had a solid 2025 season, but he knows it could be better. On3 recently spoke to the former USC star, and he gave an honest evaluation of his play this year.

“I mean, it can always be better,” Michael Pittman Jr. recently told On3. “I mean, for me, I don’t want to say I’m not happy with it because it’s not over. There’s still a lot to go out. But when I look at it, I mean, there’s definitely more out there. I’m a guy that always strives to be perfect, which is not really attainable in football. So anytime I don’t reach that, I’m always left wanting more. So just trying to show up each and every single day and give it everything I got.”

Through 15 games this year, Pittman has caught 76 passes for 757 yards and a career-high seven touchdowns. The 28-year-old has had one 100-yard game this year, which happened on Nov. 2 when he caught nine passes for 115 yards in the Colts’ 27-20 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Pittman is in his sixth NFL season and has spent his entire career with the Colts. In 93 games, Pittman has tallied 481 receptions for 5,227 yards and 25 touchdowns. His receptions rank fifth on the Colts’ all-time list, and his receiving yards rank eighth.
