The Washington Commanders are dressing for the part. On Wednesday, the franchise revealed throwback jerseys for the 2025 season which lean into the team’s lofty expectations while honoring the most successful era in team history. The Commanders’ “Super Bowl era” throwback uniforms recall the road outfits the team wore when it won three Super Bowls over a 10-season span beginning in 1982. Washington will wear the jerseys during three exclusive-window games this upcoming season, including Week 9 (vs. Seattle Seahawks), Week 13 (vs. Denver Broncos, who they defeated in Super Bowl XXII) and Week 17 (vs. Dallas Cowboys).
