According to Clarence Hill of DLLS, there has been no contact between the Dallas Cowboys and Las Vegas Raiders over Maxx Crosby . Rumors began to swirl on Tuesday about the Cowboys potentially trading for Crosby. However, to this point, there appears to be no movement from the Dallas end.
โPer source, the Cowboys have not made any contact with Raiders about Maxx Crosby,โ Hill said via X. โThat doesnโt mean they havenโt had any internal discussions about possible moves or options. But โHavenโt talked to Raiders about Crosbyโ, per source.โ
Former ESPN personality Trey Wingo set social media ablaze with his own tweet, saying the Cowboys inquired about Crosby. But ever since then, Dallas media has slowly pushed back on the idea. As Hill says, options are still open. NFL Networkโs Jane Slater added more after Bryan Broaddus of 105.3 The Fan in Dallas echoed similar things to Hill.

The need for a pass rusher in Dallas is an obvious one ever since trading away Micah Parsons . A lot of defensive moves might be needed, at least from the outside, but getting an elite player off the edge solves some problems for the Cowboys. Even with a few guys on the roster already finding success.
In seven games played, Crosby has 28 total tackles, 10 tackles for a loss, and four sacks. Nine quarterback hits are a massive bonus and needed inside Matt Eberflus โ defense.
