Dak Prescott’s appearance on the Cowboys’ Week 12 injury report raised eyebrows on Wednesday. However, team owner Jerry Jones insists he’s not concerned. In fact, he didn’t even know Prescott was listed at all.
Speaking on 103.5 The FAN , Jones was asked about Prescott’s hip issue. Jones admitted he had no idea the quarterback had appeared on the report.
“Maybe my mind can’t go there even if there’s a symptom,” Jones said, per the Dallas Morning News’ Joseph Hoyt.
The Cowboys listed Prescott with a hip injury following Wednesday’s practice, though he remained a full participant. Head coach Brian Schottenheimer downplayed the situation, calling it “nothing major” and emphasizing that the team was simply being smart with Prescott’s workload.
Still, the Cowboys are entering a brutal three-game gauntlet. They’ll face Philadelphia, Kansas City and Detroit in an 11-day span, and any injury news involving their franchise quarterback draws attention.
