According to ESPN’s Todd Archer, the Dallas Cowboys and second-round pick Donovan Ezeiruaku have agreed to a rookie contract. Ezeiruaku was the final Cowboys draft pick without a deal, now having the entire rookie class locked up just a few days before training camp begins.
“The Cowboys and second rounder Donovan Ezeiruaku have agreed on a four-year deal, according to a source, which means all of their picks are under contract as the team flies to California Sunday for training camp,” Archer said via X.
Dallas took the Boston College product with the No. 44 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Some felt as if Ezeiruaku was worthy of being selected on Thursday night. Instead, he fell all the way to the Cowboys in the second round. Everyone at The Star is hoping they got incredible value at one of the more important positions out there.
Getting to quarterbacks is what Ezeiruaku does. In 12 games last season for BC, he recorded 21 tackles for a loss, most in the ACC. His sack numbers pop off the stat sheet as well, getting 16.5. That number, once again, led the ACC and was second in all of college football.
