Daniel Jones seems to like the “Indiana Jones” nickname that was given to him after joining the Indianapolis Colts. On the ManningCast , Peyton Manning asked Jones if he joined the Colts so he could get a nickname upgrade.
“I didn’t factor that in. I’d say it’s probably an upgrade,” Daniel Jones said while laughing. Jones is playing like Indiana Jones as he has led the Colts to a 3-0 record so far this season. In those three games, Daniel Jones has completed 71.6 percent of his passes and has thrown for 816 yards, three touchdowns, and zero interceptions. The 28-year-old has also rushed for 55 yards and three touchdowns on 17 carries.
Jones joined the Colts after spending his first six seasons with the New York Giants. During his time in New York, Jones played in 70 games with 69 starts and threw for 14,582 yards, 70 touchdowns, and 47 interceptions with a 24-44 QB record.
