Houston Texans star cornerback Derek Stingley left a game against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday after a hard hit on a catch by Davante Adams . He appeared to be holding his left hip.
Stingley was immediately escorted to the team’s blue injury tent on the sideline to be further evaluated. He was able to walk there on his own power.
But it’ll be interesting to see if there are any lingering effects for the star corner. He initially made the tackle on Adams from behind but seemed to bend uncomfortably at the hips as another player laid a big hit on Adams’ upper body. You can view the hit below.
