Pittsburgh Steelers safety DeShon Elliott suffered a knee injury during the game against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday night and was carted off the field. During the NBC broadcast, sideline reporter Melissa Stark gave an update on Elliott.
“They will play the rest of this game without DeShon Elliott because of the injury he suffered to his knee,” Stark said. “We saw him immediately grab his right knee. He was helped off the field into the medical tent with the athletic training staff and the team orthopedist. He was in so much pain, yelling out in frustration. He was put on the cart, he had tears in his eyes, and his hands covering his face.”
