Devin Booker makes franchise history in Suns’ comeback win 

At least for one night, Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns showed they aren’t giving up on competing during the 2025-26 season.  After trailing 29-19 after the first quarter and 71-54 at halftime, the Suns managed to pull out the win in their season opener against the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night.  Led by Booker, the Suns stormed back from that 17-point deficit and claimed their first win of the year. Booker, fresh off signing a massive extension to stay in Phoenix despite the departures of his recent co-stars in Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal, scored 31 points in 36 minutes of action. And thanks to Booker putting the team on his back at times, the Suns were able to win both the third and fourth quarters.
