Whispers hinting that the Miami Dolphins could replace head coach Mike McDaniel with John Harbaugh have hovered over the Dolphins ever since the Baltimore Ravens stunningly parted ways with Harbaugh on Tuesday. McDaniel remained attached to the Dolphins as of Thursday morning. However, NFL insider Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated suggested in his latest mailbag that Miami’s situation remains somewhat up in the air until further notice. “One interesting twist here,” Breer wrote about the Dolphins’ search for a new general manager. “The Dolphins put in interview requests for their first six GM candidates on Monday, all of whom have connections to Mike McDaniel, in one way or another.
