The first two picks of the 2025 NBA Draft seem to be set in stone. Duke star forward Cooper Flagg will presumably be the first overall pick to the Dallas Mavericks, while Rutgers guard Dylan Harper is expected to go to the San Antonio Spurs unless another team acquires the No. 2 pick. Harper’s college teammate, Ace Bailey, is arguably the third-best prospect in the draft class. However, his unwillingness to work out for specific teams — including the Philadelphia 76ers, who hold the third pick — may have rubbed a few teams the wrong way, and rightfully so. While Bailey’s actions seem to have lowered his stock, they have opened the door for other players to be drafted at the third spot.
