The Tennessee Titans are reportedly trading EDGE Dre’Mont Jones to the Baltimore Ravens for a conditional fifth-round draft pick, according to Ian Rapoport. Jones has had 4.5 sacks in his last four games.
According to the NFL insider, the future pick could become a fourth-rounder. However, the conditions of the trade have not been revealed as of this writing.
Jones was in his first season with the Titans, as has 26 total tackles on the season. He previously played for the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos.
He’ll bring Baltimore a versatile presence on the edge of the defensive line, and has proven himself to be a consistent pass rusher over his career. Since entering the league in 2019, Jones has recorded 35 sacks across 99 games.
The former third-round NFL Draft pick out of Ohio State recorded the best season of his career in 2022, his final with the Broncos, with 47 total tackles and 6.5 sacks. Now in his seventh year in the league now, Jones has accounted for 236 tackles, 35.0 sacks, an interception and seven passes defended.
Jones has had a sort of resurgence with the Titans this season. After finishing last season with 28 total tackles and 4.0 sacks in 2024 in Seattle — he is three tackles away from breaking last season’s tackle total while he’s already eclipsed last year’s sack total. He’s done so in nearly half the amount of games.
