The 10th overall pick in the 2025 NHL Draft has chosen a perfect jersey number to begin his new career. Roger McQueen was taken by the Anaheim Ducks in the NHL Draft on Friday night. The Canada native then immediately took a trip to Disneyland, and fans are loving that he shares the same last name as a famous Disney icon. Those who are familiar with Disney and Pixar’s “Cars” franchise know that the main character in the movies (a car) is “Lightning McQueen.” Roger posed for some photos alongside “Lightning” after the 18-year-old was drafted. Then on Sunday, the Ducks revealed that McQueen has chosen No. 95 as his jersey number. Lightning McQueen is famously the No. 95 car in the “Cars” franchise. Either McQueen already wanted No. 95 or he has an outstanding sense of humor. Either way, fans are already loving their new player and his number.
