ESPN analyst makes prediction on Micah Parsons, how standoff with Cowboys will end

by: Nick Kosko 2 hours ago nickkosko59

ESPN’s Sam Acho predicted Micah Parsons will end up getting traded from the Dallas Cowboys because the pass rusher and his agent won’t back down. It’s an interesting situation considering owner Jerry Jones basically flat out refused to discuss a trade and said they’ll have Parsons for three more years by way of the franchise tag as well.

Still, Acho thinksthis battle off the fieldwill end soon. Parsons could very well play Week 1 despite sitting out of training camp, but he won’t be playing for the Cowboys for too much longer.

It’s all speculation of course, but Acho stood firm in his prediction. As it stands, Parsons is still in Dallas and appears to be readying himself for the opener against the Philadelphia Eagles.

“Micah Parsons. Where will he end up,” Acho said on SportsCenter . “There’s this contract situation between Michael Parsons and David Mulghetta, his agent, and Jerry Jones. It does not look like it’s going to end amicably. Will Michael Parsons make a change? Will Jerry Jones come to terms? I cannot wait to watch how this ends up, not just over the next 11 days, but maybe even over the next few months … I actually do (believe he’ll play elsewhere). I don’t … think he’ll be traded by week one, but I don’t see him suiting up. I don’t see Micah Parsons and David Mulghetta succumbing to the demands of Jerry Jones. Maybe Jerry Jones has a change of heart. That’s what I’m excited to see.”
