Evander Kane reportedly involved in altercation days after trade to Canucks

The Vancouver Canucks’ newest acquisition Evander Kane was reportedly jumped in Vancouver Saturday night and he needed medical attention but appears to be doing fine, further adding to his haunted past. Heading into this offseason, Canucks general manager Patrik Allvin had a ton of pressure on his shoulders to make the necessary moves in terms of trades and signings in order for the dramatic filled 2024-25 season to not repeat itself. With that in mind, Allvin made his first big splash, trading for the controversial forward Kane, sending a fourth-round pick in the 2025 NHL Draft to the Edmonton Oilers and taking on his full $5.125M salary.
