Five 2025 fantasy football bold predictions: Bo Nix a top-five QB

Copied!

From selecting league-winners and sleepers to identifying which headlines to take seriously, the NFL fantasy team has put in the work to help you crush your drafts and prepare for the 2025 season. And now, with the NFL Kickoff Game rapidly approaching, it’s time to issue some fearless takes for the upcoming campaign.

Here are five BOLD predictions for the 2025 fantasy football season:

Bo Nix finishes as a top-five quarterback.

Nix was so consistent in his first season under Sean Payton, and he has the chance to really break out in Year 2 with the Broncos adding more talent around him (TE Evan Engram and RB RJ Harvey). While everyone is focusing on the Josh Allens and Joe Burrows of the world, Nix will not so quietly catapult himself into being a top-five fantasy quarterback. Trust me.

TreVeyon Henderson will be a top-10 running back.

The Patriots rookie has caught the attention of the football world in recent weeks, but some of us have been here for months! Henderson is the exact type of talent people should covet in fantasy football: a shifty, explosive runner who can hit a home run whenever he touches the ball. Despite sharing the backfield with Rhamondre Stevenson, Henderson will get plenty of opportunity in New England’s run-heavy offense, and he’s a strong pass blocker and receiver suited for those valuable PPR downs. In short, the young back will feast this season.

The Lions — without Ben Johnson — feature TWO top-10 wide receivers.

Amon-Ra St. Brown has been a solid first-round pick all summer long. But what if I told you that the Lions have TWO WR1s on their roster? Jameson Williams enjoyed a breakout 2024 season and is poised to take an even bigger leap this year. New offensive coordinator John Morton has a plan for his playmakers, and we’ll see a fully operational Williams unleashed on opponents in a big way.
