Former Alabama and NFL running back TJ Yeldon has reportedly been arrested on domestic violence charges, according to WKRG-5 out of Mobile.
Yeldon, 31 of Daphne, Ala., was arrested Saturday in Baldwin County (Ala.) on third-degree domestic violence, third-degree criminal mischief and interference with a domestic violence emergency call, according to a release by the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office, per WKRG.

The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office received an emergency call from 911 around 1 am CT, Saturday morning, during which “BCSO communication officers could hear what was believed to be a domestic violence offense occurring between a male and female,” the BCSO release said, per WKRG.
Upon responding, BCSO officers knocked on the door and the “male party” — believed to be Yeldon — reportedly “saw the deputies, turned off the lights and refused to open the door,” according to the release as viewed by WKRG.
“The Caller stated that she was able to get to the bedroom and lock the door when deputies arrived, but after turning the lights off, the male party was attempting to get into the bedroom with the victim,” the BCSO release read, per WKRG. “This information was provided to the deputies on scene and BCSO personnel attempted to make forced entry. At that time, the male unlocked the door and was detained.”
