The Jacksonville Jaguars and Cleveland Browns have come together for a late night trade.
The Jaguars are reportedly sending cornerback Tyson Campbell and a 2026 7th-round pick to the Browns for cornerback Greg Newsome and a 2026 6th-round pick. The two teams previously swapped the No. 2 and No. 5 picks in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Both Campbell and Newsome have played in all five games for their teams this season. Campbell had recorded 22 tackles, one forced fumble and six pass deflections for the 4-1 Jacksonville Jaguars. Newsome, playing for the 1-4 Browns, has recorded 18 tackles and three pass deflections this season. Campbell’s contract could have played into the trade, as the Jags signed him to a four-year, $76.5 million extension ($53.4 million guaranteed) in July 2024.
