Quinn Ewers opened up this week about his decision to leave college early to make the leap to the NFL. His reasoning sounded like a wake-up call to college athletes who enter the transfer portal year after year. Ewers opted to forego his final year of eligibility to declare for the 2025 NFL Draft. Once touted as a potential top pick in the draft, the 22-year-old fell all the way to the seventh round, where he was selected 231st overall by the Miami Dolphins. The San Antonio, Texas, native reportedly turned down a gargantuan NIL offer to go pro. Ewers was asked about the decision earlier this week.
