Free Agent WR Odell Beckham Jr. suspended for violating NFL PED policy

Free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. told The Pivot on Tuesday that he is accepting a six-game suspension for violating the NFL PED policy last season. The suspension starts today and would carry over the next six weeks, marking Week 12 as his return date if he were to sign with a team in the near future.

Per NFL Network โ€˜s Tom Pelissero , Beckham Jr. said he has never knowingly taken any PED. The former All-Pro receiver spent the 2024 season with the Miami Dolphins, where he hauled in nine catches for 55 yards in nine games.

Since being named to three consecutive Pro Bowls from 2014-2016, Beckham Jr. has bounced around the league. He spent his first five NFL seasons with the New York Giants, but was traded to the Cleveland Browns in 2019 just one season after signing a five-year, $95 million contract extension. After spending two and a half seasons in Cleveland, OBJ was released and subsequently picked up by the Los Angeles Rams.
