by: Brian Jones 3 hours ago brianjones_93

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver George Pickens is battling two injuries, but seems to be trending towards playing on Thanksgiving Day. The team announced that Pickens returned to practice on Tuesday after missing Monday’s practice due to knee and calf injuries. He was a limited participant in practice, and the Cowboys will announce his game status on Wednesday.

George Pickens was seen arriving late to the field during the media’s viewing period of practice on Tuesday. The former Georgia Bulldogs standout was getting treatment for his injuries and spent some time warming up off to the side before participating in a drill.

The Cowboys are coming off a 24-21 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, and Pickens played a big role in the win. He finished the day with nine catches on nine targets for 146 yards and one touchdown.

Pickens has been one of the NFL’s best wide receivers this year. Through 11 games, the 24-year-old has caught 67 passes for 1,054 yards and eight touchdowns.
