Angel Reese is reminding everyone why she’s built for the spotlight. After facing a wave of criticism and online hate early in the season, the Chicago Sky forward is now thriving, having just been named the WNBA Eastern Conference Player of the Week to close out June. Reese averaged 19.7 points, 17.0 rebounds, and 2.0 steals over the week, leading the Sky on both ends of the floor. She’s been a monster on the glass, recently becoming the first WNBA player in history to record 70 rebounds over a four-game span. Reese also racked up six double-doubles in her last seven games.
