Big Q recaps the unified lightweight championship bout between Devin Haney & Vasiliy Lomachenko. Devin Haney successfully defended his undisputed lightweight championship against former unified lightweight champion Vasiliy Lomachenko in the main event at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. All three judges scored the fight for Haney (116-112, 115-113, 115-113).

Lomachenko came on at the end of the bout and was listed as a -500 favorite on the live line, but the scorecards didn’t fall his way.

Haney (30-0, 15 KOs), 24, unified all four major belts with a victory over George Kambosos Jr. in June 2022. Lomachenko,35, had won three consecutive bouts prior to this fight.
