This remarkable achievement recognizes their outstanding contributions to the game and potential as future stars in the league.
Herb Jones, a second-round pick from Alabama in the 2021 draft, has proven his worth on the court with an impressive stat line, averaging 9.8 points per game, 4.1 rebounds, and shooting at an impressive 46.9% from the field across 66 games for the Pelicans. His stellar performance caught the eye of the team management, resulting in a lucrative four-year contract extension worth $54 million. Similarly, Trey Murphy III, a first-round draft pick from Virginia in 2020, showcased his scoring prowess with an impressive average of 14.5 points per game, 3.6 rebounds, while boasting an impressive 48.4% shooting from the field and 40.6% from downtown in his 79 games for the Pelicans.
