On Sunday night, MLB insider Andy Martino of SNY revealed that Mets team officials “continue to believe in the major league coaching staff” even though the club is in the middle of a 3-13 run. “The offense has underperformed, but rarely does a change in hitting coaches turn around a struggling lineup,” Martino explained. “MLB hitters are grown men, no longer in a player development program.
