Kelsey Mitchell carried the scoring load for the Indiana Fever during the 2025 season, especially after All-Star guard Caitlin Clark was ruled out for the rest of the campaign due to a groin injury. The 29-year-old vet established herself as an MVP candidate in the process, averaging 20.2 points per game on 45.6% shooting along with 3.4 assists. With Mitchell leading the way, the Fever finished with a 24-20 record and made it all the way to the WNBA semifinals, where they lost to the Las Vegas Aces in five games.
