The Indiana Fever have missed the services of Caitlin Clark of late. The team confirmed on Thursday that the reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year will remain out for Friday’s matchup against Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings, marking the sixth straight game a re-aggravated groin injury has sidelined Clark. The Fever, however, have won three straight games amid Clark’s most recent injury spell, including Wednesday’s hard-fought victory against the Phoenix Mercury at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. It was Aari McDonald who stepped up for Indiana with a career-high 27 points to lead the Fever to a 107-101 win. This has been the theme for the Fever of late as Clark continues to watch from the sidelines.
