AFC Offensive Player of the Week

Behind the steady arm and fleet feet of Lawrence, the Jaguars trounced the New York Jets, 48-20, on Sunday. Lawrence piled up the stats in a historical outing. He tallied six touchdowns — five passing TDs, one rushing — while completing 20 of 32 passes for 330 yards with no interceptions for a sparkling 136.7 rating and adding 51 rushing yards. Lawrence became the first player in NFL history with five passing touchdowns, one rushing touchdown and at least 50 rushing yards in a single game, per NFL Research. This is Lawrence’s fourth career AFC Offensive Player of the Week accolade, and his first since Week 11, 2023.

NFC Offensive Player of the Week

Pitts posted the greatest game of his career in the Falcons’ 29-28 upset of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday night. Pitts had 11 receptions on 12 targets for 166 yards and three touchdowns — all of those numbers single-game career bests. He became the first tight end since Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe in 1996 with 150-plus yards receiving and three TDs, per NFL Research. Pitts has now claimed his first career Player of the Week award.
